When Tommy dies, Kat is left under Jason's care. It takes her sometime to adjust, but she eventually gets over it and finds her true love.

He really thought that they were unhurtable, that no harm could EVER touch them.
Tommy 2 was the only one who felt left out. The others had known each other WAY before he came into the picture and he didn't like that achey feeling he got from Kim. Bad sign for any new boyfriend............
Aisha watched them both carefully. She couldn't help but feel sorry for Tommy 2 or "Tom." He is supposed to be the one she goes to for comfort, security, and most importantly: Love. He is who she chose after all.
Aisha: Come on, I think we both had a long day.............
Tom: Yeah, we can all use a break! I wouldn't mind a long hour karate session with Jason over there!
Jason can only flare his temper as he watches this "Tommy Clone." How dare he masquerade his best friend!
Jason: SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tommy 2 looks at him in shock.
Jason: I'm sorry man, I was still grieving my best friend and then I saw you and I just lost it!
Tommy 2: You thought I'd be the one to take it out on correct?
Jason: That's right and I'm sorry. I shouldn't have flew off at you like that.
Tommy 2: That is my point Jason, you all need to take a break from this.
Now, it was Jason's turn to be shocked. "How do you know how I think or feel?"
Tommy 2: Because during my last visit here, I was given a proper warning...........
Kim walks over, "So you heard?"
Tommy 2: I plan to make myself useful around here, but I ask YOU Jason to try to get along o.k.?
Jason threw a punch which he stopped with his arm, "And that is NOT a good start............."
Jason growls, "Kim take your pretty boy with you before I kill him!"
Come on says Kim as she drags him out.
When they got outside, he lost all of his self control. "Who is that guy!?!"
"Jason Scott, someone you DON'T want to mess with!"
Tom: Man Kim, you better hold your friend back............
He didn't like this place anymore, it didn't feel like a home. Instead, it felt like a trap.
Jason: Get him away from here Kim.
Kim threw up her hands, "God it's not his fault!"
Jason: You're just defending him because you have a big ego!
He didn't even see the hand as it flew at his face. "And you're just as bad.........."
Jason held his cheek as he gawked at her.
Kim: Out of all of you, I thought you'd be the mature one!
Tom leans over, "Him and mature are two different things..........."
She smacks him over the head, "Don't even start............."
