My name is Tommy Oliver. The past year has been one of the most hectic of my life. I moved to a city, made new friends. And most of all became a Power Ranger. Unfortunately my time as the Green Power Ranger was short. Rita Repulsa tried to stripped me of my powers. Luckly I was able to pass what was left of them to Jason Scott. Which helped my friends defeat the evil Empress. Now as my 18th Birthday looms and my time in High School ends....I must say good bye to my new friends, as its time to move once again. But this time not to a new familiar place but to a my childhood home. A place of great tragady...............
Tommy Oliver finished packing his things on his motor cycle. Taking a sigh as he knew it was time to say good bye to some of the best friends he ever knew, Jason, Kimberely, Trini, Zack, and Billy. Tommy couldn't bear to say good bye to any of them, especialy Kimberely. Who in the last few months, had become far more then just a friend. But Tommy had to keep a promise to an old friend.
"Take care of yourself bro, its just not going to be the same without you." said Jason as he shook the hand of his best friend.
"Same, here man, keep in touch" said Zack as he gave Tommy a high five.
"Remember Tommy we're always here for you" said Trini
" I made this for you tommy" said Billy as he handed Tommy a small rectangaler device"
" What is it Billy?" replied Tommy.
"Its a comminication device. If you ever need us, just use it."
"Yeah, Tommy, once a Ranger always a Rangers. Said Jason.
"Thanks guys, alll of you. Your some of the best friends I have ever had. I don't know what I would have done with out you," said Tommy as he finally faced Kimberely, not knowing what to say.
Jason patted Tommy on the back, knowing it was time for his friends to leave to teo alone, "We're always here for you Tommy, remember that, Angel Grove will alway be your home."
Jason and his trhee friends then made their exit to allow the young couple time to say their good byes.
" I can;'t beleive this is already happening," said Kimberly. " We finally started to go out and now-. "
Tommy gently hugged Kimberly. " I know Kim, it isn't fair. But I have to do this. its time for me to go home and see an old friend."
" I know Tommy, Its just hard for me, I-"
" I know Kim, its hard for me too. Its just-. Look Kim, the past year, especially the past few months..... have been great. The greatest time of my life. And its not being a Power Rangers or just making friends with all of you. It sbeen the best year because of you Kimberly."
Kimberly's heart lit up knowing she felt the same about Tommy, who was now leaving her, " Tommy' I love you", said a tearfilled Kimberly.
Tommy wiped the tear of off his girlfriend's eye as some began to form in his own." Kim, I love you to, and whatever happens I will alway be here for you. No matter where I go."
"Tommy-" said Kimberely as she felt the gentle lips of her sweet Tommt touch her own. Sharing one last kiss with the man she knew she would always love.
"Eh- I have to go", said Tommy. As he slowly brioke away.
"I-I know, Take car of yourself," Kimberly faintly said with a smile.
"I always do," said Tommy as he put his helmet on and finally started to drive off. Kimberly looked on knowing she would see him again someday,somehow.
Chapter One.
Breaking up with Kimberly was probably the one of the toughest things I ever had to do. But actually not the toughest. When I was a little kid, I lost someone close to me forever...... My own father. One christmas I was 9 ears old and things seemed as happy as they copuld be. But on the at same day my father was killed and my life was over as I knew it. My dad's mentor (Tao) took me in and taught me to deal with the pain through martial arts. For a year I lived with Tao. Until my Uncle and Aunt gained custody of me. It was heartbreaking to leave the man who was like another father to me. I promised Tao I would return to Crossworld City,( my home) when I was 18. Now my 18th Birthday has come and with Rita's threat over, it was time for me to honro that promise. I sit here at the very shrine where my Father taught me many of life's lessons. Tao helped me advance as a martial artist but it was my Father that taught me in the begiinning. I think thats why I always used martial artis as an escape for most of my life. I never told even the Rangers my secret. As it was too hard to think about. But now it was time to face my past, as I was home. Back in Crossworld City for the first time in 8 years............
