In this episode, the Professor (or the "Old Man" as Kenta/MegaRed calls him) reveals how the man that first discovered the existence of the Nejirejia was a friend of his. He explains how unlike him, he was truly a genius. His friend's name is Samejima. Here's a shot of the Professor and Samejima, this shot is from a flashback the Professor is having.
Samejima went into the dimension (where he located the Nejirejia's existence) and he was declared missing.
