Rita and Zedd's "Growth Lightning" special effect is added into the scene when Impursonator grows so that it's obvious that their magic is what causes the monster to grow. After the Rangers retreat when the Zeo Ultrazord doesn't destroy Impursonator, there's a shot of the Machine Empire's throne room and then the following shots of Giant Impursonator is new footage.
