All footage of the 5 Rangers fighting Defoliator is new footage however there are some Sentai shots of Defoliator spliced in from Sentai when he uses his blast so that they don't have to re-do the blasting special effect.

In Power Rangers Zeo, they made it so that the "Zeo Megazord" defeated him and then the Zeo Blaster destroyed him.
